CHALLENGE
Delta Airlines enlisted VOLO Events Agency to create and execute a family-friendly Employee Engagement Event at the company’s corporate headquarters campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The event’s goal was to celebrate Delta employees’ outstanding achievements and the success of Delta Airlines’ global footprint.
SOLUTION
“Global Street Party” – An immersive experiential marketing experience and block party for more than 25,000 Delta employees and their families. Featuring food, entertainment, carnival rides, over 70 street performers, an employee talent show and an authentic German biergarten.
The design and production team at VOLO provided the Delta Global Employees Engagement & Events department and their agencies with an international festival environment and amusement park quality carnival rides including:
- Project design, layout and management
- 70’ Ferris Wheel with 3,000 multi-colored LED lights similar reminiscent of America’s largest fairs
- Mobile power generation and electrical distribution
- Guest access platforms, ramps, and safety fencing
- Professional Installation, supervision and operation
- A complete and immersive carnival ride experience, with an international flair, to reinforce the “Global Street Party” theme
- Full-scale amusement park-quality rides and experiences
- Flawless execution, on time and on budget
RESULT
25,000 satisfied employees – and their families – who enjoyed the expression of appreciation from their employer and returned to work with renewed energy and excitement. Delta Employee Surveys demonstrated the success of this annual event. VOLO Events Agency has designed and managed this experiential engagement event for Delta in 2018, 2019 and 2022.
