CHALLENGE
CSX is a member of the National Freight Transportation Association (NFTA). CSX desired to produce a special dinner and entertainment reception for large-accounts and potential clients during the NFTA association meeting in Phoenix, AZ. The goal was to impress and attract these VIPs who would inevitably have invitations to attend similar competitor events.
SOLUTION
A convenient and inviting one-of-a-kind reception and entertainment mini-event located on the front lawn on the Wigwam Arizona resort that was hosting the NFTA meeting.
To create a unique environment, the front lawn of the resort was reserved and utilized instead of traditional meeting space. A custom tenting infrastructure and amenities were used to create an elegant and inviting atmosphere. The impromptu venue was visible to all attendees, thus piquing curiosity. Elements included design and site planning, custom entertainment, lighting, sound, staging, technical, musical direction, walkways. Audio visual, power, labor, creative development, media production, and décor. Additionally, three prominent American Idol contestants were booked for evening entertainment, Jacob Lusk, Bo Bice, and Jacee Badeux.
RESULT
Attendance amongst invitees was high, allowing for meaningful engagement by the CSX team and above expectation attainment of their goals.
