Large clearspan tent rental – Grand opening

VOLO Events Agency with the challenge to put together a fully equipped event structure for the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art solar module production facility and factory in Dalton, Georgia for Hanwha Q Cells, with a very short timeframe to deliver results. This celebration was integral to the reputation of the organization, as they wanted to express their commitment to the U.S. market and celebrate the creation of nearly 700 jobs in the best way.

The corporate event structure specialists at VOLO Events were given the task by the Astound Group to provide the primary and secondary event structures for a 3-day grand opening event for Hanwha Q Cells, giving Hanwha clients, employees, and U.S. officials the opportunity to enjoy the new facility to its highest potential.

Organizing this kind of large-scale event tent structure was posing to be a huge challenge under the pressure and time constraints, especially with location, space, and surface proving to be major hurdles. In order for VOLO to fulfill the creative vision that Hanwha Q Cells and their agency, Astound had in mind, the event management services and attention to detail would need to be exceptional to ensure everything is accomplished flawlessly.

Due to their insight and experience in bespoke events and past successes as a corporate event management company for grand openings and groundbreaking, VOLO Events Agency had the ability to provide a unique solution. This is to ensure that the state-of-the-art facility was represented in the way it should be. After a thorough site survey and engineering review by their team of architects and engineers, VOLO decided to erect an outdoor structure for the grand opening and groundbreaking that could house all 300 event attendees during their lunch reception and facility tours.

A state-of-the-art flooring system was deployed to create a level surface that would sufficiently support VOLO’s 10,000 sqft Maxi-Flex Clear Span tent which perfectly encompassed the clean and crisp environment of the facility around them.

This entire event tent rental process needed to be completed within very strict time constraints, whilst also being responsible for the architectural CADD drawings, master planning, onsite installation, HVAC power, audiovisual power, raised decking, and hardwood flooring – all of which were handled quickly and professionally improving the experience of the event.

The corporate event proved to be a complete success that was fulfilled on budget and on time. VOLO Events executed flawlessly, whilst under intense time constraints, requiring an immense level of creativity, expertise, and precise execution. The guests at the new Hanwha Q Cells enjoyed a stress-free afternoon in a beautiful and cool structure. Guests were treated to a welcome reception, golf tournament at the renowned Chateau Elan Golf Course, finishing with a facility tour and luncheon.
