Case Study: Celebrity Branded Entertainment
Signature Series Shows is an event marketing concept conceived, produced and managed by Executive Visions (EVI). Charles Marto was co-founder of EVI and served as EVP Operations and Principal of the company for 29 years. EVI desired to showcase and launch the concept in 1992 with the goal of demonstrating to corporate event executives its ability to meet all the requirements for the production of world class shows and to create custom musical entertainment with its partner David Foster. The event was also serving as the official Brand Launch of event partner Holiday Inn Worldwide and the launch of new global routes for event partner Delta Air Lines.
A combined co-branded event with Holiday Inn Worldwide and Delta Airlines featuring the EVI Signature Series Show. This was an invitation only star-studded event held at one of Holiday Inn’s new flagship Crown Plaza properties. The celebrity nature of the event ensured attendance by major meetings and communications executives while showcasing the capabilities and amenities of the Crown Plaza product and the Signature Series Show.
The two-day event included a corporate communications panel discussion with CNN’s Lou Dobbs, press conferences, exhibits, a dinner event, and culminated with an exclusive Signature Series Show™ featuring David Foster, Celine Dion, Kenny Rogers, and a 70 piece orchestra. This impressive entertainment climax was further supported by 10,000 points of fiber optic light, fireworks, lasers and special lighting effects.
A resounding success attracting over 350 of America’s top corporate meeting decision makers from Fortune 500 Companies who were left with a lasting impression of the evening…as well as EVI and their new Signature Series Show.
