Dome 500 – Unparalleled Space and Strength

A monumental dome offering 5,275 sq. ft. of open space with an 82 ft. diameter, 41 ft. ceiling height, and 144,437 cu. ft. of volume. Featuring durable, fire-resistant membranes and a robust steel framework, it supports wind loads up to 11 Beaufort and suspended loads up to 5,511 lbs. Flexible options include Transparent, Blackout, Branded, and Open Dome variations. Designed for large events, commercial use, and creative projects, it sets a new standard in versatility and impact.

Versatile and Spacious, For Every Event

Membrane Options

The dome offers flexible membrane options, including Transparent Front with a detachable clear front, Blackout for interior darkening, Transparent for night effects, Branded for custom printing, and Open Dome with a mobile stage. Opaque PVC membranes can be replaced with single-layer covers for creative lighting effects visible from the outside.

Made from PVC-coated polyester fabrics, the membrane covers 982 m² (total) with a 108 m² front part. Thickness ranges from 650 g/m² (non-opaque) to 800 g/m² (opaque), and it is fire-resistant (Class B1 and M2, DIN 4102).

Framework and Entrances

The steel framework is made from S235JR steel with a hot-dip, double-sided galvanized, powder-coated finish (white, other RAL colors available), featuring 555 struts (48 mm diameter, 3.0 mm wall thickness) and 30 feet for stability.

The dome has one standard entrance (up to three optional), with a circular opening of 6 ft (floor level) and 11 ft (center), 8 ft in height. It includes three PVC membrane zip doors (white or transparent) or an optional aluminum-glass door (6.5 ft x 6.5 ft) with an anti-panic system. Additional features include 5 top ventilation openings, optional AC/heating, and circular or triangular transparent windows available on request.

Safety and Assembly

The structure supports windloads of 0.5 kN/m² (11 Beaufort/violent storm) and allows suspended loads between 3306-4410 lbs, with 16 to 50 load points. The steel framework weighs 16,530 lbs, and the membrane weighs 2360 lbs.

Assembly takes 26 hours with a 12-person crew, while dismantling takes 20 hours. An 80t crane is required for both assembly and dismantling.
